What we build / Hospitality

Websites for Blackpool restaurants, cafes and bars.

Menus that are actually readable on a phone, bookings that are easy to make, and photos that make people hungry. We build websites that fill tables.

Feeding Blackpool is a serious business. Millions of visitors a year come to the Promenade, the Tower and the Pleasure Beach, and every one of them eats - fish and chips on the front, breakfast before a day out, a proper sit-down meal after the Illuminations. Then there’s everyone who actually lives here: the year-round trade along Whitegate Drive, Highfield Road in South Shore, Red Bank Road up in Bispham and the cafe-bar cluster around St John’s Square and Topping Street in the town centre. The reopened Abingdon Street Market food hall says it plainly - food and drink is one of the few Blackpool trades that never really has an off-season, just different customers in it.

Which is exactly why the website matters. A visitor stood on the Prom deciding where to eat tonight is going to Google it, and if your menu is an unreadable PDF from two summers ago, they’re booking somewhere else. We’re based on Lytham Road in FY4, a short walk from South Shore’s restaurants and takeaways, and we build websites whose only job is to get people through your door hungry.

What a restaurant website has to do

Show the menu properly

The menu is the whole reason people visit your site, so it can’t be a photo of a laminated sheet or a PDF that needs pinching and zooming. We build menus as proper pages - fast, readable on a phone, easy on the eyes - and updating them is included in the monthly fee. New specials board, winter menu, price change on the fish? Send it over and it’s done. No web developer’s invoice for changing the price of a pie.

Take the booking, or the call

If you take table bookings, we wire your site into whatever system you use so “book a table” works in two taps. If you’re a takeaway or a cafe that runs on walk-ins and phone orders, we make the number tappable and impossible to miss instead. Opening hours, kitchen times and “last orders” live where people can find them, because a wasted journey earns you a one-star review.

Make people hungry

People choose with their eyes, and dim phone photos of your best dishes undersell the kitchen. We can arrange professional food photography as part of the build - quoted separately, so you only pay for it if you want it. Good pictures pay for themselves on a food website faster than almost anywhere else.

Pay monthly, because margins are margins

Hospitality runs on tight numbers and a seasonal cash flow - flat-out from Easter through the Illuminations switch-off, quieter in the dead months. Dropping a few thousand pounds on a website in January is not how anyone in this trade wants to spend the quiet season. Our package is £99 to set up and £29.99 a month, and that’s the entire cost: design, UK hosting, SSL, your domain, business email and unlimited updates. It sits in your books like any other small standing cost, next to the card machine. There’s no contract, and once you’ve been with us 12 months the website and domain are yours.

Being found when someone’s hungry

Restaurant searches are the most local searches there are. Nobody plans lunch a fortnight ahead - they type “Sunday lunch Blackpool”, “breakfast near Blackpool Tower” or “restaurants near me” and pick from what comes up in the next few minutes. We build every page to compete for exactly those searches: proper titles, quick loading, and copy that names where you actually are - two minutes from the Winter Gardens, on the front at South Shore, just off St John’s Square.

Your Google Business Profile matters just as much, because for “near me” searches the map appears before any website does. We’ll help you get it right: accurate pin, current opening hours, menu link, photos that do the food justice. And because reviews decide where people eat, we can add a reviews widget so the ratings you’ve earned on Google do their selling on your own site too.

Questions we get from Blackpool food businesses

Can you come in and see the place?

Yes - we’re on Lytham Road, so for Blackpool restaurants and cafes we’ll happily call in, see the room and talk it through. Kitchen hours being what they are, plenty of owners sort the whole thing by WhatsApp and email between services instead. Both work.

How fast can you update the menu?

Send the change over and it’s usually live the same working day. Menu updates, specials, seasonal hours - it’s all included in the £29.99, not billed per edit.

What does it cost, all in?

£99 setup, then £29.99 a month. That covers design, hosting, SSL, domain, email and every update you need. Photography and an online ordering shop are optional extras, quoted before you commit to anything.

How quickly can we be live?

Usually within a week of getting your content - menu, photos, hours. If you’re opening or relaunching for the season, tell us the date and we’ll work backwards from it.

A menu people can actually read, bookings that take two taps, and a spot on the map when someone nearby searches “food near me” - built and kept fresh from just down the road.
