We do not sell empty hosting space; we take over the site that is already there - move it onto our servers, sort the SSL and backups, fix what is broken on the way in - and from then on it is looked after like one we built, edits included. If the site is sound, that is often the cheapest fix a business can make. If it is not, we will say so, and the redesign route costs the same monthly anyway. Either way the migration is done by us, at no charge, and you keep your domain in your own name throughout.
How much does web hosting cost in Blackpool?

Where are your servers?
Here's the straight answer most hosts bury: our own machines sit in an enterprise OVH datacentre in northern France - one of the largest hosting facilities in Europe - and your visitors are served through a CDN with edge servers across the UK, which is why pages respond in under a tenth of a second from Blackpool. The servers are managed entirely from our studio on Lytham Road. Data protection-wise the UK and EU formally recognise each other's rules (adequacy), so nothing about the geography affects your GDPR position. We could print "UK hosting" like everyone else and hope you never ask; we'd rather you knew, and judged us on the speed.
What about backups?
Nightly, automatically, with fourteen days of history kept - and separately from that, every site we build lives in version control, so the site itself can be rebuilt from source even in the worst case. Do you guarantee 99.9% uptime?
We don't publish an uptime guarantee, on purpose - and it's worth knowing why they're theatre: an SLA typically refunds a fraction of your monthly fee for downtime that might have cost you a week of bookings. Pennies for your pounds. What we do instead: run our own servers carefully, keep them boring and un-oversold, and treat "my site is down" as the front of every queue - message us on WhatsApp and the person who can actually fix it reads it. Our own business runs on the same servers as yours, which is the only uptime incentive that has ever really worked.
What happens to my site if I leave?
You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice and no exit fee. Your domain is registered in your name from day one - never ours. Once you've been on the plan 12 months, the website is yours to keep too: we hand everything over and point the domain wherever you ask, no hostage fees, no "site release charge". Leave inside the first 12 months and the build stays with us (your domain and content still go with you): that's the honest trade of a plan with no big upfront bill, and it's in the terms in plain English rather than buried in clause 14.3. Your own content - text, photos, logo - is yours from day one either way.
Do you offer e-commerce hosting in Blackpool?
