The brief
Blackpool has no shortage of places to stay, and a B&B's website has three jobs: stand out to the tourists searching for somewhere to stay in Blackpool, win direct bookings so the owners aren't handing commission to booking sites, and show off what makes the place different. Q Accommodation is genuinely different - adults-only and gay-friendly - so the site had to lead with that, not bury it.
What we built
A custom website designed around their needs, built and managed in the UK, with ongoing updates and maintenance included as part of the monthly package. No template dropped in and forgotten about - a site that gets looked after.
Two extras did the heavy lifting. We photographed the rooms and amenities properly, because for a B&B the photos are the sales pitch. And we added a 360° virtual tour, so guests can explore each room before booking rather than gambling on a couple of wide-angle shots.
Mobile-friendly design
Responsive on any device, so guests get a smooth experience whether they’re browsing on a phone, tablet or desktop.
Photography, done by us
We provided the high-quality images that showcase the rooms and amenities - no dark phone snaps.
360° virtual tour
Guests can walk through each room virtually and picture themselves in the space before they book.
Built for direct bookings
Everything a guest needs to book directly with the B&B, rather than through a commission-charging booking site.
The result
A site that isn't just nice to look at - it's practical and built to drive bookings. Guests land on it, see exactly what they're getting, and can book directly with the B&B. And because it's on our pay-monthly package, the hosting, updates and maintenance are handled by us for as long as the site's with us.
If you run a hotel, B&B or holiday let in Blackpool, this is the package we'd build for you too - see our web design for Blackpool hotels page, or get in touch.
